Ewart has trekked through the landscapes of  Severn and Wye  as a geographer, geologist and teacher. His experience includes twenty years of photography, more than 15 working with digital images and more recently leading Adobe Photoshop & digital camera skills courses at an  international school and technology college.
Spring & summer in the Forest. One day starter course.   Introduction to landscapes, portraits and close-ups  and all the elements of good composition using all types of digital cameras.
9.00am            Welcome and coffee

9.15am            Location briefing; Great shots with your digital camera

10.00 am         Visit to Lydney Harbour and Severnside walk
                         Composition and digital camera techniques.

12.00               Photo review &  digital image management

1.00pm            Buffet lunch

2.00pm            Practical sessions:  Cannop Ponds
 

3.45pm            Group review 

4.30pm           Tea

5.00pm           Taurus Crafts Centre closes

Two 90 minute guided walks  with landscape photography is included. Camera handling, photo-composition, saving and storing photos,  and an introduction to image editing  & management are all covered. A still life practical  close-up session features flowers & gardens, ceramics and fabrics.
